"18 juni 1815 "Battle of Waterloo"
It was big fun to see the soldiers standing in the field. Within a few months my seconds battlefield was full. Without thinking of the reactions of the rest of my family I started a new landscape. Within a few days I started with painting for my 3rd Waterloo.

The British Rocketeers. Nobody believed that these troops where
to be taken serious, but the brought heavy damage to the French troops.

French artillery in action |

On this set of French Artillery I used black ink for making
shadow lines on objects and figures to give it more expression. I use a very
small brush. The ink is working much better than paint because it is thinner and
flows better.
